β-Carotene is a natural carotenoid feed additive. As an efficient precursor of vitamin A, it can be safely converted into active vitamin A in animals' bodies and is widely used in livestock, aquatic and pet feed. This product is mainly in the form of 10% feed-grade powder or microencapsulated form, and has three core functions:
1) It provides bioavailable vitamin A to ensure the vision, reproduction and immune health of animals;
2) As a natural coloring agent, it significantly improves the color of egg yolks, the color of salmon and the skin color of poultry;
3) It exerts strong antioxidant effects to protect cells from oxidative damage. Its water dispersibility formula and high-temperature resistance treatment ensure its stability during feed processing.
The typical addition amount is 50-200g/ton, and it is particularly suitable for non-antibiotic farming, high-end aquatic products and organic feed solutions. It complies with the EU E160a and Chinese feed additive regulations and is a safe and efficient alternative to synthetic vitamin A.
