Application:This catalyst is a highly efficient amine blowing catalyst used in the production of various types of polyurethane foam. Its catalytic effect is more specific to the water-isocyanate blowing reaction. Therefore, its unique structure has made it the catalyst of choice in flexible and rigid polyurethane systems where a smooth blowing profile is required. Due to its reactive hydroxyl group, this catalyst readily reacts into the urethane network. As a result, it provides the added benefit of low residual odour and is especially useful where a non-migrating amine is required. 
Potential applications for this catalyst include flexible slabstock, packaging foam, automotive instrument panels and other areas where a catalyst providing low residual odour or non-migrating performance is required.
The usage levels of this catalyst are dependent on the requirements of the particular
application. When producing flexible polyether slabstock or moulded foams, it is recommended that this  catalyst be used in conjunction with a strong gelling catalyst .
