Product Description

Product Description

Modified starch is based on the inherent properties of starch. In order to improve the performance of starch and expand its application range, new functional groups are introduced into the starch molecules or the size of starch molecules and the properties of starch granules are changed through physical, chemical or enzymatic treatment, thereby changing the natural properties of starch (such as gelatinization temperature, thermal viscosity and its stability, freeze-thaw stability, gel strength, film-forming properties, transparency, etc.) to make it more suitable for certain application requirements.
Modified starch is mainly used for sizing and printing and dyeing in the textile industry. Modified starch slurry has good adhesion and film-forming properties, which can improve the wear resistance and strength of yarn, and can also play a role in mildew and antibacterial. In addition, modified starch can also be used to produce textile auxiliaries and finishing agents to increase the added value of textiles.
Slurry: Modified starch can be used as a slurry for fabrics to increase the smoothness and wear resistance of fabrics.
Printing paste: In the printing process, modified starch can be used as a paste to maintain the clarity of the pattern.
Finishing agent: Modified starch can be used as a finishing agent for fabrics to give the fabric a soft feel and good gloss.
