Product Description

At room temperature, it is a colorless to light yellow transparent liquid, and the pure substance is close to colorless, and may be slightly yellow when left for a long time or affected by light. The liquid has a low viscosity and has some fluidity. It has a slightly pungent odor, similar to the characteristic odor of ester compounds, but slightly irritating due to the cyano group.
Slightly soluble in water, soluble in most organic solvents, such as ethanol, ether, benzene, etc. It is miscible with polar organic solvents such as alcohols and esters.
It is stable at room temperature, but it is easy to decompose in case of strong acid and alkali or high temperature, releasing hydrogen cyanide gas.
